Lake Nagawicka (Nagawicka Lake as the locals call it) lies within the boundaries of the City of Delafield
and the Village of Nashotah.  Lake properties include small year-round homes, condominium
developments, large stately lake homes, and many newer construction single family homes.  Buying an
existing older home and tearing it down to build a new lake property is very common here.  Nagawicka
is an excellent family lake - great for swimming, sailing, fishing and water skiing.  There are sandbars to
the west of St. John's Island and along the western shoreline of the lake that make for great swimming
spots.  Nagawaukee Park on Hwy. 83, lies on the eastern shoreline and has the only public boat launch
for the lake and limits the number of boat trailers that can park there.  Nagawaukee Park also offers a
nice swimming beach, picnic areas, and a small campground area.  City of Delafield and Village of
Nashotah residents have rights to use a boat launch near the downtown area of Delafield. The lone
public establishment on Nagawicka is the popular Seven Seas Restaurant.  Fishing is good for Bluegill,
Crappie, Perch, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, White Bass, Walleye and Northern Pike.
